BACKSTORY[1-2 Paragraphs MINIMUM 10-20 Sentences]: Daniel was born inside one of the large vault-tec society preservation vaults many years after the great war had devastated the united states. He Never really found himself socializing with other vault dwellers, only a small group of friends he had that usually wanders around the vault, slacking off. Daniel was neither a trouble maker or an ass kisser, he simply liked sitting around and listening to his radio from time to time.Upon growing older he was soon expected to find an occupation working in the vault. He scanned over the terminal for an occupation, eventually settling for mechanic, as it'd be a simple, quiet job that he saw himself doing. Naturally good with handiwork, he gained higher and higher expectations from the vault staff. All the pressure on the one mechanic eventually caused him to slow down his pace, hoping for just a day where he can sit in the storage room and tinker with some mechanical device alone, listening to his favorite vault broadcasts. One time, when he did get the opportunity to do as he wished, his attention was caught by a dusty guitar case on a shelf. He assumed that any previous owner would not mind if he used it, seeing as it must of not been touched in months. He took the guitar and a few old holotapes to teach him the basics.

He found a new hobby, practicing on the acoustic guitar when he wasn't busy. He eventually became good at it, his talent keeping him busy and distracted from the boring vault life. Although, it wasn't the only thing he had become interested in. One day, sitting alone in the storage room, one of the officers came in, handing him a jammed 10mm pistol that was used to bash a particularly aggressive rad roach earlier that day. He eventually took the weapon apart, cleaned out the dry radroach blood and handed it back. Satisfied with the work, the guard offered to teach him out to use the pistol. And being the true American he is, Daniel accepted the offer, taking some time off to do some target practice on a few radroaches in the depths of the vault. He eventually found a somewhat more entertaining life with his new hobbies and skills, but continues to work as one of the few mechanics in the vault, waiting and hoping for something eventful to finally happen.

Now I realize this app has been on pending for quite a time, and you're the first of the bunch to even get a response but some parts feel a little empty. The -just happens to decide to be mechanic- I realize that sometimes occupations just happen. But give us a little bit of something, like a situation that was the metaphorical gateway drug into becoming a mechanic, or some situation that paved a path for it to come about. Otherwise a few grammatical issues that should of been polished prior to posting. Take some time to look at the app see if you can polish some details that seem left out here.
