Talus was born and raised on Palaven. From a young age she excelled a fair bit in her upbringing to the point she was marked down as her parents began to note something very strange about her. After multiple tests at a young age, they found that she had a rather high level of eezo in her blood which lead to the knowledge of her being an untrained biotic. As soon as she was old enough, she was taken from her family and put into a Cabal unit where she was outfitted with an amp and trained to use it properly. The segregation of being in the Cabal however put a big toll on her personality as she was constantly separated from the main groups of soldiers being trained. This lead to hostilities between Cabal troopers and regular troopers since the regular troopers assumed that they were treated much different from how the rest of the pack was treated. This lead to her gaining a rather strong need to cut down on hostilities and mediate whenever possible since she hated seeing internal conflict being the main source of hostilities in her group. She was immediately thrust into a squad leader role because of this and fulfilled her role to an excellent level. Unfortunately, after 10 years of service, a rather large explosion took her out of commission. After recovering, instead of pulling her back into service the Hierarchy opted to instead discharge her as they realized that it had taken her too long to recover. She was then re-opted into a task force with the Alliance during the Reaper wars where she now works.
