John Johnson is a simple man born on a farm in the fields of Wisconsin. His life has always been calm as a son of a cheese maker, one of the few who managed to handle a local store among the larger companies moving into the small town. After the threat of the Reapers made itself known, he signed up to join the Alliance forces with the idea of protecting his home and family in mind. He passed through training with average scoring, showing a competent soldier but nothing much more. During the invasion he was merely a soldier defending Earth, fighting when he could.
