Two Paragraph Backstory(For Returning players it is only one Paragraph), Five to Seven Sentences per Paragraph.

Born on the MSV Illivas as it was docked on Taetrus, Artacus He grew up in the downtown sector of Vallum, a neighborhood of slum-like conditions. For the rest of his childhood he lived as an orphan, the origin of his parents or family unknown. For years he resorted to stealing both food, water, and credits alike from the local shops and wandering pedestrians. Artacus as well was living in an orphanage, that provided only little shelter and supplies due to the neighborhood that he resided in. He continued to do these activities to survive until he met a kind-hearted officer named Togris Valmik, who took him off the slums of downtown Vallum and flew him up to Palaven. Artacus now had a family.

By the time he was fifteen, Artacus was sent into the military, enduring through both harsh punishment and cruel hazings. But this didn't stop him forming an undying loyalty to the Hierarchy, regardless of his lone wolf attitude. He was immediately transferred to the Cabal units as they discovered that Artacus had been exposed to eezo prior from birth, making him a biotic. During his time in the Cabal unit, he met two of his greatest companions. Rakilen Yavelis, a man who thought of him as a brother, and Lyia Quilvos, a young woman that Artacus adored and loved.

He was also assigned on counter-terrorist operations against Facinus. The battles against Facinus however were his high point, for he was able to return to Taetrus and back to his childhood home, Vallum, and wipe out the separatists once and for all. After they were sure that the threat had ceased, Artacus would eventually marry Lyia and have a daughter named Thracy. Even though he had settled down with his new-found family, Artacus still had to for some sort of adventure while also trying to find a way to make money for his wife and child. He took up a job as a fugitive recovery agent for the Hierarchy while doing some vigilantism on the side.

Unfortunately, he made the wrong move of making enemies with a certain group and they sent hitmen after him. While he did eliminate the assassins, he was torn apart when he found out that his wife was shot and killed by one of the henchmen. After this tragedy, Artacus slowly went into depression, becoming more introverted, resorting to recreational drugs and became over-protective to his only daughter, as well as snapping at her occasionally. As time passed he eventually recovered to the point where he can focused on his job again although some of his tendencies are buried deep down inside him. Knowing that he may cause some harm to his only daughter, he made her live with his adoptive father Togris. To this day, he still manages to make money for himself and his only child as he went on with life, occasionally visiting his only daughter and his relatives from time to time.
