Two Paragraph Backstory(For Returning players it is only one Paragraph): Laurent Moutier was born on an alliance base in Berlin to a pair of alliance marines on rotating duties. As such his childhood was more of less military, being shunted around ships and colonies, growing up on Alliance military, and generally receiving an Alliance education. His biotic potential was detected when he hit puberty and was thus fast tracked into the Alliance budding BAaT (Biotic Acclimation and Temperance Training) programme on Jump Zero to train its first generation of biotics - Later fitted in with the L2 implants when he hit 18 years of age and an 'offical' member of the Alliance

Following Jump Zero, Laurent was one of the handful of human biotics to be enlisted into the Alliance Westpoint academy following a special directive to get biotic officers on the field.  After four years at West Point Moutier's graduated at the rank of 2Lt, only to transfer himself into the Alliance Military Police to gain the standard rank of Provost. His unit, the fictional 110th Special Investigations Unit was formed to handle exceptionally tough or politically sensitive cases - Often deployed as a policing action for Alliance commando units or Citadel task forces

After the invasion of Earth and the devastation across the galaxy, Laurent Moutier volunteered to be transferred out from the 110th Special Investigations into the Marine 586th Biotic Artillery- He served with the 566th during the entirety of the Reaper war and was present on the finial battle of Earth with the rank of Specialist.
