Born in a massive city on Earth, Daniel was raised in usual conditions for most people in massive, dense cities. He lived in an ordinary household and lived a normal life, usually isolated from people to pursue his hobbies alone. After turning 18 and leaving high school he ignored college, bought an old shuttle which he soon learned to efficiently fly, despite it's somewhat poor quality. He traveled around the country, performing small musical gigs, and small jobs in various fields to make some side money for food and necessities. After becoming broke and bored of his lifestyle, he joined up in the Alliance marine forces, eventually becoming a rifleman and making it to the rank of Private first Class before the reaper invasion of earth had taken place.
