Solik Varan was born on the Salarian homeworld of Sur’Kesh. Like most of his species, Solik fully embodied the dictum of ‘Knowledge is Power’, and from an early age sought to pursue this unending quest through science, with a very keen interest in biology, specifically the physiology of the galaxies’ species. Due to this interest, Solik quickly began pursuing his interest in biology at an early age, quickly becoming a well-respect student of science by his early adulthood. It was not long after his apprenticeship in his field that he was approached by a Salarian Special Tasks Group recruiter and asked to become a potential candidate. He graciously accepted, and began the vetting process for the STG.
After being accepted into the STG, Solik’s scientific interest and passion was put to use in much more interesting ways than previously anticipated. He would no longer be simply studying biology, he would be experimenting with various species, testing various compounds and recording the results. No matter the mission assigned to his cell, Solik was one the operatives to spear-head the biological aspect of situation, and as such, gained a vast and rather dangerous knowledge of the physiology of most known species in the galaxy.
Over the next several years, Solik worked passionately as an STG operative, having a hand in many of the early discoveries leading up the Reaper invasions, including a hand in the operations led during the Eden Prime wars. As the next three years progressed, Solik was involved in various classified operations and discoveries, eventually leading up Reaper Invasions.
Soon after the Reaper Invasions ended, Solik was unexpectedly reassigned to SSV London as a Naval Intelligence Scientist. The reasons behind this transfer are unknown, but he accepted his reassignment with no retaliation, still very keen on continuing his work for both the Citadel and his Species.

Nah, that's too strong for me, but another salarian! Yay! We need more of them if we're EVER going to take over the Sunken Refractions. Let me know if you need anything salarian-wise in PAC, since this species is a bit of an...odd one.
