Two Paragraph Backstory(For Returning players it is only one Paragraph), Five to Seven Sentences per Paragraph.

Much like his bloodline before him, Ta Van Sang was born on the ideals of fighting not only for himself and his family but for the community and people around him. Being raised in Hanoi, Vietnam; the country that his ancestors had fought and died for long ago during the invasion of Vietnam. His parents, both agricultural workers on the outskirts of the cities producing fresh produce to be sold off for income. Being a stereotypical ‘farmers boy’, Ta was raised upon the knowledge of the farm and the tools at his disposal; being passed on the teachings of the family tradition by his parents. However, his family teachings were not the only education he would receive, travelling into the city every day to receive a basic education; giving him the ability to read, write and do the basics of all the subjects within the teaching curriculum. Whilst he was certainly no genius, he wasn’t dumb either; being that happy healthy average that everyone was happy with.

It wasn’t until Ta was of enlistment age that his life changed from the norm of caring for the farm and receiving his education. As part of family tradition, he would enlist within the Alliance Military to serve his time within service. Undergoing basic training before serving twenty two years on and off tours as a marine with no particular specialization, Ta would present the core values that the Sang family held highly; integrity, hard-working and honesty. As time went on, the more Ta served, the more he found himself fitting into the military lifestyle and whilst the work was dangerous and challenging; Ta endured, feeling like he was doing good to both himself, his family and the galactic community. Finding himself rising up the ranks through a grueling and dedicated military career, he would find himself a Second Lieutenant within his 205th Marine Battalion, assisting the command structure with commanding the men on a range of mission parameters across the Galaxy.

Being approached by the ICT about taking on the challenges that came with being a candidate, Ta accepted and begun his trials after being transported to Rio de Janeiro. Leading small combat teams through hostile environments with little supplies sticking to his family traditions, Ta managed to keep clinging onto his spot in the program; not without learning a particular other tradition that he himself had to stick with and had learnt to since rising the ranks of the marines; adaptability. Successfully passing through the trials and getting to N1, Ta would not stop there. Pushing himself onwards to complete the rest of the courses, which took him from Earth to off-planet locations to be tested on numerous subjects, Ta slowly but surely rose from N1 up to N6; finding himself out of the ‘simulated’ situations of the previous programs and put into live-fire scenarios and combat situations around the Galaxy.

Spending the next few years in combat across the Galaxy, Ta would be brought back to Earth for one of the worst battles to endure; the battle for Earth. Being brought back to his homeworld like the majority of the Alliance’s military assets, Ta would be sent to London to assist with ground operations against the Reaper threat, organizing the defence against the exterminators of the galaxy; in a sense, raising arms just like his bloodline had long ago to defend themselves, only on a global scale. Being sent to London to assist with the final assault; Ta and his support; a mix of N grades from 1 to even 7, held their ground against the assault and, although many casualties and losses were received, Ta and the rest of humanity were able to emerge victorious against the Reaper threat.

Commended for his efforts against the Reapers during the battle of Earth like many others, Ta would find himself granted the N7 designation. After a few weeks of rest and recovery, finding out that his family made it out alive and well despite the horrors of the invasion, Ta would be reassigned to the SSV London to serve alongside the rest of the First Contact Task Force, being sent in to support the ranks and possibly the command structure. Being sent out to the rendezvous after their previous mission, Ta is willing to pass on his traditions to ensure the safety of his men; integrity, hard-working and honesty.
