How long have you been rping? I’ve been roleplaying to some extent since the age of 8, where I got into tabletop games like D&D. Then, at age 9, I got into a political RP set in the 17th Century, called Shattered Isles. I don’t know how old I was when I got into Gmod RP, but I’ve always had a spot in my heart for roleplaying games, either virtual or real. Examples include KOTOR, D&D, HaloRP, StalkerRP, etc.
How did you find us? Friends told me about the server.
Have you been banned from Singularity Gaming? Never.

Two Paragraph Backstory(For Returning players it is only one Paragraph), Five to Seven Sentences per Paragraph.

Michael Carpenter was an Earth born human, who was born November 9th, 2147. Living in the city of London, he grew up in a middle class family, and had a reasonably comfortable life. His father, Thomas Carpenter, and his mother, Amelia Carpenter, were both fair and reasonable parents, and adored their only child, Michael. Thomas was a man who worked in the automobile industry, selling cars to other middle class citizens, whilst his mother worked in advertising, spending most of the day at her office. Due to both his parents working long hours, Michael spent most of his youth at a daycare, developing bonds with other children over his parents. At classes, Michael was average, as he was with most things. He went through his education without any failing grades, but was most certainly not recognized for his intellect. He enjoyed sports, but lacked the ability that some of his peers had, and he had plenty of friends, but never found himself surrounded by them like some students. Despite having a good life, he despised it, wishing to be more than just average. After reflecting on his school and social life, he became even more motivated.

When he attempted to study, he simply found himself ending his session preemptively, and leaving with a sullen look. Education would not be his strongsuit. He wasn’t particularly handsome, and lacked humor, so he never found himself becoming one of the cooler or popular students, so he gave up on that as well. Sports, however, he seemed to gravitate towards. Despite his average performance, he loved sports and athletics, and he decided to dedicate his life to them by his 7th grade year. He began training, and had his family sign up for a gym. There, he spent most of his time. He lifted, ran, swam, and did everything that an athlete could possibly do, and by 9th grade, he was in very good health. He quickly joined his school’s rugby program, and made the cut to join the team. There, he truly felt at home. His team was like his family, and he developed a true sense of camaraderie with them.

Despite his love of sports, and his team in London, he had a wanderlust that only a teenager could have. Many of his friends on his team shared that adventurous feeling, and at 18, after graduating high school, Michael and some of his teammates discussed enlisting into the Alliance Military together, looking for a way to satisfy that wanderlust. They all agreed, saying it was a great idea, but, Michael’s parents did not share his sentiment. They called it foolish, and a waste of a good chance in life. Michael tried for weeks to convince them, but failed, and started to grow a disconnect with his family. Eventually, he gave up trying to persuade them to approve, and enlisted with his friends anyway, infuriating them. After he shipped off to boot, he cut ties with them, and they cut ties with him.

At boot, he underwent a brutal program that was intended to break him physically and mentally. Despite his athleticism, he found training to be very difficult. He did manage to pass the physical aspect of it without aid. The mental portion of his training, however, was much more difficult. Undergoing fake interrogations and detainments, he found that he only managed to endure through help from his friends. Their assistance and companionship allowed him to overcome his difficulty, and forever instilled a very strong sense of loyalty and camaraderie in Michael. Upon finishing boot camp, he was assigned his MOS; 0311, or rifleman.

Having finished his 8 weeks of boot camp, Michael was deployed to the 32nd Infantry, a division within the Alliance Marine Corps. Michael served for 4 years in the 32nd, before eventually attaining the rank of sergeant. After serving for about 7 months as a sergeant, he looked into advancing more, as he found that he did well in leadership. He eventually decided that OCS was the way to go, and went back to Earth to go to college.

He spent 4 years at South-Essex College, and after spending more time than he could possibly imagine studying, graduated with a four year degree. After receiving his degree, he was sent back to the military, and went to OCS. There, he underwent vigorous physical courses, and challenging academic courses. He did make the cut at OCS, and was sent back to active duty in the 32nd with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

Michael served 6 months as a Lieutenant, and found himself at his best physical condition yet. Wishing to advance even more in his career, he looked into going to the Interplanetary Combatives Training Program, or N7 program. He underwent multiple months of screening, before finally being selected to go to training for N7 operatives.

At the N school, Michael began his first phase of training, where he spent over 20 hours a day with almost no sleep or food training in small unit operations, and going through grueling PT. After months of training, he passed through the first phase, and was given the title of N1. After that, he began what felt like a blur of training, going through almost all types of combat simulations and exercises. Finally, the most dangerous title of them all reached him, N6. He was deployed into a combat zone, engaging Cerberus troops. Narrowly avoiding death multiple times, he passed, and was granted the most coveted position a human could achieve. Michael, however, had very little time to celebrate his new position, as the Humanity greatly needed aid in the Human-Reaper war. He, like many other N7 operatives, were sent to Firebase London. As the war dragged on, Michael was fighting almost non-stop, until finally, the Reapers were bested. As N7 units were being transferred all over the galaxy, Michael found himself transferred to the SSV London.
