N7 Task Force Dynamics Discussion

So, it has come to my attention that there are an increasing number of COs onboard the Task Force, considering the new N7 characters.  I've spoken to a few people individually, but I'm posting this here to get opinions faster and from a broader range of people.

Basically, I don't want this influx of new officers to invalidate our NCOs, our other COs, and inundate the server with too many high-ranking characters, throwing the balance of power off.  So, in a discussion with Piano earlier, I had an idea.

FuryofAngels: A thought i had recently about our, in my view, conundrum of there being a bunch of COs, many of them N7s
FuryofAngels: Basically, I think the N7s, myself, you, and Irish and Icechuck's characters, should be a sort of contained squad of their own
FuryofAngels: Unless there aren't other squad leads during events, I think it would be a good idea to keep the N7s in their own little cabal.
FuryofAngels: Lets the NCOs be useful still, and Dio can remain the main field CO for the regular troops
FuryofAngels: As for the N7 team, it'll just be a fireteam with myself or you as squad leader.
FuryofAngels: And we basically control and lead the N7s.  Except for Dex's of course, since he's the Commander.
FuryofAngels: In this way, they would act like Warrant Officers, officer with some authority on the ship, but more as a specialist when in the field.

I can elaborate further upon request, and I invite discussion (I will get to you, I just have class so forgive me if I'm a bit busy) but I feel like this would be a good way to structure the task force, so that people's role still remain relevant.

You say the influx of new N7 officers, but, Irish and myself are both Privates as of my time posting this. I don't know if this is just me being confused, or if there's some misunderstanding.

I recall when I first joined and applied for an N7, as I was told by Dex that this would have been the case as far as their operation went.

That wasn't the case of course. The N7 I had is long gone, but I ain't going to be spiteful if it does become the case now. On the contrary, I think it'd be better off for any present N7.

I feel it would be better for us. N7 are in some form of officer position. So seeing enlisted N7 is OOCly kind of ridiculous as well as ICly ridiculous. It gives N7 more freedom along with being treated as their proper rank.

I doubt any N7 are going to be abusing the power of an officer rank or equiv. I honestly don't see what can go wrong. We have capable people in N7, people that wouldn't ruin it.

I haven't played on server yet, but still, i'm agree that N7 better be in different squad.
