Darius and Draven Petalonias were born in 2150 on the Turian home-world Palaven. Much like any young Turians, the brothers were instilled the ideal of loyalty and discipline at a young age, and as such have a strong sense of loyalty to their race and the council. At the age of fifteenth, like every other Turian, the brothers were sent to boot camp on their 15th birthday, and began their year of mandatory training. Soon after their boot camp was finished, the brothers were assigned to receive training on the various Turian ship canons and torpedoes. Along with this, the duo also received extensive training with both the M-37 falcon and Turian heavy turrets.

During the next several years, Darius and Draven were assigned to various positions, until eventually being assigned to the SS Aquila, a ship that had been indefinitely assigned to Citadel security at the age of twenty-seven. For the next six years, the duo saw little combat or conflict until the unexpected Geth Invasion of the Citadel in 2183. It was during this day that Draven and Darius showed exactly what they were capable of, making expert use of the mounted weapons equipped on the Aquila to defend the Citadel. After what seemed what like a life-time of fighting, the duo managed to earn a respectable amount of recognition from both their shipmates along with their commanding officer due to performance.

Soon after, the Aquila, along with many other cruisers in the Turian fleet, were retrofitted with Thanix Canons. Darius and Draven remained stationed on the Aquila. A few years later the Aquila was pulled off Citadel protection during the Reaper Invasions, and was one of the many ships assigned to defend Palaven during the reaper Invasion.

During the fight to defend Palaven, the Aquila sustained dramatic and critical hull damage, eventually leading to the ship being retired soon after the fight had ended. It was not long after that, due to the duo’s extensive experience and skill, they are assigned to the SSV London as the ships primary Fire control men.
