Two Paragraph Backstory(For Returning players it is only one Paragraph), Five to Seven Sentences per Paragraph.

Santiago was born on the Earth and into a harsh environment with his dead beat father no where to be seen most likely left before he was born, and his mother always working to make ends meet. How ever because of this Santiago was forced to fend for himself and take care of himself. As he grew up he spent his time with the wrong crowd since he ran with a local gang they would either be stealing or picking fights with other people or gangs. Regardless Santiago spent his time with them as a means of survival to protect himself and his mother who he viewed as a saint. Eventually growing up through his younger age and just barley past his Teenage years.

As the years passed through his Teenage years because of the crowd he was involved his friends in the gang were dying all around him because of a knife wound or getting shot and bleeding out. Eventually Santiago having lost most of his friends the rest having just grown distance as a means of coping with the loss in their own way, but Santiago however learned to hold onto the one thing that mattered most in life 'survival'. As a result Santiago slowly became more passive-aggressive and always looking for himself along with his Mother of course that was barley making it by. Santiago's mother knew about his endeavors, but didn't really have the time to scold him when he was younger to make sure he didn't go along the path. Once he turned 18 his mother and himself home one night like usual would be in a rather heated argument abut Juan's endeavors with the wrong crowd being involved with gangs and crime. Once the argument was over Juan found himself being forced to the nearest recruiting center for the Military as a means to straighten her sons life out because she didn't want to see him end up dead.

So with his mother having forced his son to enlist and the recruiter seeing Juan acting like some petty Chollo. So the Recruiter worked with his mother and had him sent off to Basic and straighten his life out with the intentions of tough love from his mother. The moment he arrived in basic Santiago tried to prove himself, but his instructors quickly put him in his place showing him that the act was NOT going to be accepted at all. As time passed through basic with his mother writing him letters saying that she loved and missed him so much, but was glad to see he wasn't running with gangs and doing something with his life. The letters of love and eventually Juan agreed with his mother to give her most of his earned paycheck keeping little for himself as a means to eat if he needed the extra pocket change. As time passed his mother with Juan's help  would find her self saving a hefty sum to be able to leave the slums and poverty to move ahead in life, but Juan's time in the Military has just begun...
