Two Paragraph Backstory(For Returning players it is only one Paragraph), Five to Seven Sentences per Paragraph.
The sights and sounds of the Citadel were nothing new to Lah'Kash, the regular hubbub of the Presidium especially so. It was here that some years ago, he'd had excitement as a young agent tracking down a drug trafficking ring while cooperating with Citadel security. Back then, the Presidium was a place where all he had to do was find the shifty face in the crowd to find a lead. However, as his eyes darted around, he was struck with the stark reality of how lifeless everyone looked. From face to face, the emotions he read were those of panic, worry, countless cracking masks that the faces wore that showed the truth within. These people were scared, and they had to right to be so. With the Reapers on the doorstep of every homeworld in the galaxy, if not already there and wreaking havoc, people had no safe place, no refuge. They were lost, and though people on the Citadel tried to hide it, to any trained eye, it was obvious.
The chime of the elevator doors broke his train of thought, and Lah'Kash's attention was drawn to the mixed party of Alliance officials and Salarian military that approached. A look from one of the salarian officers was all that was needed, and Lah'Kash fell in line with the rest. More dead looks, more sullen expressions. They were headed for transport ships going to a battlefield far away, in a land Lah'Kash had never seen. Though salarian lifespans were short, he wondered if his would be cut all the shorter in this endeavor. Though perhaps, if this was to be his finest hour, his life would at the very least not be wasted. No, he thought as the corners of his mouth drew up, he'd be making damn certain of that.
